INTERNATIONAL SCHOOLS

Happy families make for happier,

more confident students

International schools are a unique place indeed.

With children hailing from all over the world, a strong sense of community is imperative.  Nurturing and supporting our children, helping them handle the move to a new country and navigate the host of cultural differences among their fellow students is a challenge for any parent.

As a parent, nothing is more important than your kids feeling confident and happy, that starts with you feeling the same!

Be A Happy Expat Spouse

1.5 hour session.  Talk with extensive Q&A

This talk is designed to support accompanying spouses seeking insight into the unique personal challenges they face with a move abroad. It offers guidance to better transition into their new life, support their families, and make the most of their experience.

Pain points addressed include:

  • Loss of identity

  • Feeling inadequate - as they believe this should all be easier

  • A sense of feeling lost or alone - ‘it’s easy for everyone else’

  • Frustration (anger, sadness) - unmet expectations and perceived inefficiencies in the new culture.

Even as a seasoned expat I had so many new 'aha' moments and learned so much from Tanya.  Her talk should be mandatory for every expat spouse

HI, I'M TANYA

Having been an expat parent, I know how hard it is to nurture the best in your kids when you're juggling all the aspects of the change yourself.  As the spouse, we're the emotional pillar of the family which can be overwhelming at times.

My first step in supporting expat spouses was developing a talk for International communities that addressed the challenges that are specific to our lives and the staggering change we navigate.

Over the past 15 years I've helped countless expats build skillsets to more quickly adapt to their new home, settle the family to create stability, and find their own network to lean on, so they too can become
